Jack Lee

Artist Jack Lee was born in Canton, Province in China and immigrated with his family to Hong Kong in 1960. He attended Hong Kong's prestigious International Fine Arts Academy, the department of oil painting, and graduated the age of eighteen. After his graduation, he worked as the Art Director in the oil painting department for Chi Yang Arts and Craft Company. He immigrated to America in 1969 and settled in San Francisco.

During the late 70's in San Francisco, Jack Lee was an assistant to the well-known California Artist, Albert Michael Kahn for a period of three years. He assisted Mr. Kahn with the development of graphical art pieces for an advertising company.

Many of Jack Lee's oil canvas creations are of enchanting landscapes and mesmerizing sunsets. His oil creations capture the tranquil seaside settings of villages in wondrous places. His artistry creates a flowing composition of harmonious tones and exuberant colors which enrich many of nature's majestic mountains alluring landscapes and calm seas.
